Certified
Graduate Builder (CGB) 
Is
an exclusive professional designation designed to emphasize
business and project management skills as the key to a
professional building operation. The
CGB designation requires that graduates meet prescribed standards
of practice, possess a minimum of two years building industry
experience, have a proven track record of successful project
management, complete comprehensive education curriculum, and
pledge to uphold the program's code of ethics.
Graduate
Master Builder (GMB) 
Courses
are more advanced with in-depth instruction geared for experienced
building professionals. To be eligible for the GMB designation,
candidates must have previously attained the CGB, or CGR
designation and have five years of building industry experience,
or candidates must have completed three CGB, or CGR courses and
have ten years building industry experience. To
earn a GMB certificate, a participant must 1) complete five GMB
courses, or 2) complete four GMB courses, plus two CGB/CGR courses
(beyond those required for initial certification).
Certified
Graduate Remodelor (CGR) 
Is
an exclusive professional designation designed to emphasize

operation. The
CGR designation requires that graduates meet prescribed standards
of business practice, possess a minimum of five years remodeling
industry experience, have a proven track record of successful
project management, complete a comprehensive education curriculum,
and pledge to uphold the program's code of ethics.
Certified Green Professional (CGP)
Is
an exclusive designation offered by the National Association of
Home Builders, is designed to teach building industry
professionals strategies for incorporating green building
principals into homes using cost-effective and affordable options.
The
CGP designation requires that graduates meet prescribed standards
of practice, possess a minimum of two years building industry
experience, complete comprehensive education curriculum, and
pledge to uphold the program's code of ethics.
Certified
Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS)
The
Remodelors Council of the National Association of Home Builders
(NAHB) in collaboration with the NAHB Research Center, NAHB
Seniors Housing Council and AARP developed the Certified Aging in
Place Specialist (CAPS) program to address the needs of consumers
who want to make their house a home for a lifetime - regardless of
one's age, or functional abilities.
CAPS
professionals have been taught the strategies and techniques for
designing and building aesthetically pleasing, barrier-free living
environments. The CAPS program goes beyond design to address the
codes and standards, common remodeling projects and their costs,
product ideas and resources needed to provide comprehensive and
practical aging-in-place
solutions.
Certified
Active Adult Specialist in Housing (CAASH)
The
active adult market is the fastest growing segment of the housing
industry today and into the foreseeable future. The Certified
Active Adult Specialist in Housing designation gives housing
professionals serving this rapidly burgeoning market the essential
knowledge, tools and skills that will help them succeed--from
conducting initial research to design considerations and features
to servicing the customer. This designation is geared toward
builders, developers, planners, architects, designers, residential
sales and marketing professionals and other professionals involved
in the 50+ housing industry.
