What is the
Contractor Quality
Commitment Program?
The Contractor Quality
Commitment Program
adopted by the PCBA is
designed to develop and
enforce standards of
excellence for all
members and to educate
the public as to the
benefits of receiving
services from reputable
contractors.
To make this system
work, performance
standards have been
developed and adopted.
Each member must agree
to these standards
annually as a
prerequisite for
membership.
The intent is obvious:
since the PCBA promotes
and endorses its
members, the public
should be aware that we
also strive for high
levels of
professionalism. This
helps to promote public
confidence and
membership pride, which
ultimately would result
in greater membership.
The CQC Committee is
charged with handling
complaints presented
against members.
Procedures for handling
such complaints are very
specific and available
through the association
office. All members
should be reminded that
they have agreed "to
abide by the findings of
the Quality Review
Committee".
