The Pike County Builders Association has voluntarily adopted the Contractor Quality Commitment program. The program is endorsed by the Pennsylvania Builders Association. Members must meet and adhere to requirements consisting of a series of minimum performance standards, abide by the association's code of ethics, provide the association with proof of liability and workers' compensation insurance, as well as remain in good credit and ethical standings among their peers. One of the most important features of the program is that it establishes a formal consumer complaint process. This process which entitles the PCBA to respond to consumer complaints about its members was established as a means of giving the consumer peace of mind.
